Memories of New York's 5th Ave

Currently, the world communicates beyond time and space through digital networks, and the world of technology increasingly pursues humanity and longs for analog sensibility. Reminiscent of the memories of New York's Fifth Avenue at the end of the century, this work uses various analog tools such as watercolor paper, brushes, marker pens, and pencils to reinterpret the New Yorker style of Y2K sensibility into a Newtro style fashion illustration.

현재 세계는 디지털 네트워크로 시공을 초월하여 소통하고 있고, 테크놀로지 세상 속에서 점점 더 휴머니티를 찾고 아날로그적 감성을 갈망한다. 본 작품에서는 세기말 뉴욕 5번가의 추억을 떠올리며, 수채화 종이와 붓, 연필, 마카펜이라는 아날로그적 다양한 도구를 활용해 손맛을 제대로 느낄 수 있는 Y2K 감성의 뉴요커 스타일을 뉴트로풍의 패션 일러스트레이션으로 재해석하여 표현하고자 하였다.
