The Big Catch

The Big Catch inspired by a Malaysian folk lore of ‘Ulek Mayang’, a story that has been interpreted into few genres; romance between human-spirit world, tragedy, and shamanism. The artwork also attempts to use the ‘batik painting’ concept as a mean of storytelling expression. The work has been incorporated with AR experience; an exploration of using Spark AR to allow viewers experiencing AR artworks through Instagram and FB filters, though in this case the QR code to view the AR is not included.
